Sometimes things just pile together in the right way. I’m always deeply attached to old papers, pictures, things that document a time I’ll never get to experience except through someone else’s eyes. This piece was made in an afternoon with good friends, all of us sifting through a box for ephemera, finding things that made us visually happy, laughter in the background, the cool fog of the Santa Cruz mountains softly drifting by outside.
